School2U operates as a preventative, hybrid education service designed to support learners at risk of disengagement from mainstream education. Pupils supported by School2U remain on the roll of their home school or are commissioned directly by a Local Authority. Education is delivered on behalf of commissioning schools and Local Authorities through flexible, time-limited early-intervention and re-engagement programmes, prior to exclusion or crisis placement. Safeguarding, reporting, and information sharing are carried out in partnership with commissioning bodies in line with statutory guidance and the expectations of the Department for Education and Ofsted.
