Safeguarding & Compliance

Safeguarding is not an add-on. It is the foundation of everything we do. Every session, every practitioner and every process is designed with the safety and wellbeing of the young person at its centre. If a child is at immediate risk, contact the relevant local safeguarding service or call 999.

Designated Safeguarding Lead oversight

All provision operates under Designated Safeguarding Lead oversight. We maintain clear lines of communication with the commissioning school’s safeguarding team and follow concerns up in writing.

Safer Recruitment

All staff are safer recruited and enhanced DBS checked before working with a young person.

Data protection

We hold a full policy set including safeguarding, data protection and complaints. Pupil information is handled securely and shared only where it is needed for the provision, safeguarding or legal responsibilities.

Online Safety

Online delivery must use secure platforms and safeguarding-led working practices. No video may autoplay and no video may load with sound. Captions are required on every published clip.

Commissioner assurance

Professional indemnity, public liability and employer’s liability insurance are in place. Email info@school2uvirtualacademy.com and we will send our policies and insurance certificates the same day.
